Click the Link: Take the Survey. The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated home working throughout all sectors of the economy. However, there are few areas where the scale and pace has been greater than within finance workers. A report by the Financial Services Skills Commission and KPMG found that 78% of finance workers surveyed said they had worked from home since the beginning of the pandemic. This has thrown up questions around the future of working arrangements with many employers openly exploring trimming the cost of physical office space in favour of a permanent shift to home-working. Whilst many will see a benefit with a reduction in commuting and more time at home, it is vital this is weighed against a level of concern for employees that secures their health, safety and well-being. |
